ok, my english may not be good, but the idea is here, it is a little inspire from my experience 😂 This is a true treasure hunt story, the longest unresolved hunt that start in 1993, On the Trail of the Golden Owl. Treasure Hunt Gerbil was at college when the hunt started in 1993. The hunt creator Max Valentin hid a bronze statue owl somewhere in France and whoever found it would win the golden owl. Passionate by pirate stories, old tresurew, Treasure Hunt Gerbil, thought it was made for him. His dreams now come true, he will be the pirate and the one who will found it. His dreams now are about success and famous. As a good treasure hunter, he told none of his friends, but he has to made some tradeoff, like the urge to convice his parents to buy the special edition book where the 11 clues accompanied by illustrations were provided. Telling is parents was a hard decision, he hoped they will not betrayed him, it has to be a family secret ! But he is confident, Treasure Hunt Gerbil is the only one that can solve this mistery. Saturday, Treasure Hunt Gerbil is very excited, he bearely slept, 8am why the hell everyone is still sleeping in the house, come on, it is time to go to the bookstore ! Waiting for parents get up, wainting for parents take breakfast, waiting waiting waiting... so much imapatience Finally they all head up to the bookstore, what a special day, what a disappointment when Treasure Hunt Gerbil arrived ! The full size advertisement in the front door about the Golden Owl, the queue to get the book, all these kids with their parents here for the same purpuse. What a shock, him who thought he was the only one to know about this hunt. After a long wait, the book is in his hand, a lovely one. The illustrations are beautiful It is time to resolve the clues, but after looking many time at the illustrations, Treasure Hunt Gerbil had to face a truth he will never admit. It is too complicate, let him read one of the clue : "Wherever you want, By the ross and the coachman.But where you have to,By the compass and the foot." Time passed, book take some dust, Treasure Hunt Gerbil graduated, had a job, kids. This week end he visited his parents, he saw his kids talking to their grandma. He come by closer, and closer and closer, and immedialty recognised the forgotten Golden Owl book. So many meomries came back to him, a strange feeling of happiness too. What happens since 1993, thanks to modern tools, Treasure Hunt Gerbil took his modile phone, google On the Trail of the Golden Owl and discover that 9949 days later the mystery is still unsolved ! This day Treasure Hunt Gerbil made a promise to all family members, he will be the one who will solve the treasure hunt !
